Unplugged A Board Games Cafe in Fredericton

Haven't been here to play games but have been inside to check it out. Seems like a great place for friends and family to spend some time.

I love this place.

Friendly staff, wide variety of games, and tasty treats. One of my favourite places to visit for a night out with friends.

I loved it, it was amazing, in order to find every clues you have to work in teams. I definitely recommend the escape room

My husband and I go here all the time. Most recently, we did an escape room called "Consume" with a few friends on a Tuesday night. We were late but the staff were very forgiving and accommodating (thank you!). There were 5 of us. Consume starts with everyone in velcro chains in a semi-dark room. Our team had great team work and completed the room with several minutes left! It was chaos after we unlocked ourselves to beat the clock but it was the fun type of chaos where everyone worked together really well to figure out the clues. Highly recommend "Consume" at NoEscape Unplugged Board Cafe! Afterwards, we played a couple rounds of codenames downstairs and ate kettle chips, popcorn chicken, fries, and beers. Great atmosphere and great food at Unplugged 😁

Great place to gather with and enjoy food, drink, and games!!! Escape rooms were interesting and worth trying. Will totally go again.

This is a great place to come. Staff was very helpful with finding a game that worked for two players, and the food was pretty decent for what we paid. Lots of seating and lots of games. It is becoming one of my favourite spots in Fredericton to hang out!

Absolutely amazing place! Board games, escape rooms, friendly staff and great food! This is definitely a place to visit at least once if you're stopping in Fredericton!If you've never tried mead before I can't recommend trying the sampler enough! Pay the $1.50 extra for all of them, although their own custom drink Scuttlebutt is definitely the best flavour so if you want to just try one definitely give that a go!

I didnt play any of the board games but were friends were there and played games for about an hour and the board game choices were huge! They also have a ton of games for sale there, drinks and snacks for when you hang out there for a long time. We played an escape room as a group of six and we had a blast! They have four different rooms, we played the original room "the heist". We had a great night with our friends and we definitely be going back and hopefully next time we escape!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful too!

Fantastic time, every time! We love coming here. We visit a lot from Montreal and this is the first place we come to after the kids are in bed and Nana and Grandad babysit :) The food is excellent, the games are awesome and the staff is incredible. They are always super helpful and know their stuff. Want to try a new game? The "game masters" will help you pick out a game that you'll be sure to love. I can't wait to visit again and hopefully someday try out the Riverview location!

I went back here a few times when I was visiting Fredericton. It's a really nice place to unwind. Only complaint I would have is that it was cold! It didn't seem to be heated well when I was there. Wish I had a chance to try the escape rooms.

Great concept and tons of games. Bad first experience. Ordered food and waited over an hour before we were told they forgot us. Food arrived cold and wrong. Forgot our drinks again later that night. Service was super polite and I assume it was an off night so will definitely give them another shot.Food wasn't reasonably priced for what we were served even at 50% off.

If your looking for a calm but still entertaining time I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. Order a few drinks, some food or both. Pick from an almost overwhelming selection of games and just kick back

Fantastic staff, knew about games AND beer... My wife and I enjoyed several hours of pleasant gaming and conversation here. I recommend it to anyone who likes games, food and drink. Awesome selection of games, and tons for sale as well as play.

Did an escape room here. Was pretty good. A few glitches in the room that we're quickly fixed by the staff. The game room downstairs seems like a good idea. The big negative was the lack of cleanliness down stairs and around the kitchen area and washrooms. Midday, and containers of condiments left out and counters dirty. An easy fix if management steps up their game.

Best game board cafe in town. Hundreds of games to play, friendly, helpful staff. Pretty much the best spot in town to have some fun.

Always a good time whether you're with a couple friends, a big group or on a date. Lots of different games available, not tp mention the huge menu and quick service.

Staff at Unplugged are outstanding, food was delicious and such a wide variety of games! I will deffinitly come here again and bring more people! I truly recommend coming here it is sertenly a gem of fredericton!!

Bathroom is a little sketch, but otherwise awesome! Great rate, decent food/drink at reasonable prices, serves alcohol, HUGE selection of games that they try to take care of. Wish it was around when I actually lived here.

I love going there with atleast 4 to 6 people but they do have 2 player games which are super fun too! Kitchen closes at 9 I think so good to go before then. They still do offer some snacks and drinks past 9 though

This is a nice place to.chill and play some games but it a bit run down and the food is a bit pricey

The place offers a large variety of board games. It even had single player games and an escape room. The people are really friendly and the staff helps you understand the games and pick a game too. Its cozy and must visit if you love arcade games.

First time being here, was a great date spot and will definitely come back with friend groups. So many games to play, drinks, welcoming staff, cheap cover charge(5 bucks)

This is a great little place to meet with friends for a beer and some gaming. The game selection is really good and the menu is nice. The table lighting is a bit distracting when trying to learn a new game but it isn't too difficult to ignore.I go back to Unplugged every time I come home on vacation. You should check it out.

We love Unplugged!! Our 2 kids (11&14) love it too! And the escape rooms are all really well thought out!

Fantastic way to spend a rainy day. Definitely recommend visiting if you like to play boardgames! They have a great collection to choose from. Try the mead from pollen angels - it's delicious!

This is our favourite date night. Lots of fun games to try. Food is a bit over priced and small portions.

I was in Fredericton for 5 days and came to this place 2 different nights because it was so fun! They have such a great selection of games and their escape rooms were creative and challenging! The guys working at the time were so nice and didn't rush us at the end of the night when we still needed a few more minutes to finish the game. I definitely would recommend you check out this spot, as I would definitely go back there again.

The escape room was so well made! Had a blast completing it and then hanging out playing board games downstairs!

This place was great,I walked in as fellow was closing the kitchen but insisted as I was about to leave he insisted it wasn't a problem to serve me I got a unplugged sandwich it came with fries now I hate potatoes that's like the 1 food I hate but these fries were like 5star all the way and the sandwich wow the last thing I expected from a little hole in the wall boardgame place but as far as I'm concerned this place puts franchised and big money establishments to shame keep up the good work.

Staff is great and have a great selection on their menu if I could ask for anything itd be more games but their selection is already great.

Board game cafes are great, and Unplugged is no exception. Lots of games to choose from as well as food options. The staff are really nice as well.

A fun spot to gather with a group of friends to play some games and/or have some drinks; mead being their specialty. There's hundreds of games to choose from, with a few escape rooms. There is a food menu but if you're out for a meal, I would go elsewhere first. Food is not their forte, but more an added bonus.

Great place to get to know your friends more. Such a great selection of many age appropriate games. I was sad to see only one worker, that had to manage taking orders and also cooking them. He did an excellent job. I’d definitely go again.
